About Us

Pioneer Family EyeCare was founded in 2022 by Dr. Leah Gibson.

Although the practice is new, we as a group bring 95 years of combined experience in the optometric field. Our focus is to provide individualized care for each patient from the thorough health exam through the selection of glasses or contact lenses. We intend to tailor our services for each patient’s needs.

Pioneer Family EyeCare invites all ages whether that is for routine eye health exams, treatment of various ocular diseases, or emergency eye visits. We hope that we can help you with the eye care that you need.

  • Owner/Optometrist

    Dr. Gibson grew up in central Nebraska.  She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Southern College of Optometry.   

    After 13 years of practicing Optometry, she has made the leap to start her own practice.  The goal is to provide excellent eye care for people of all ages and abilities.  Dr. Gibson cares for each patient that comes through her door and enjoys the diversity that patient care provides.

  • Dawn has been an Optician for over 40 years. She does an amazing job with difficult repairs and adjustments. Dawn excels at making people comfortable and helping them select their next great pair of glasses.

  • Optician  

    Deb has been an Optician for over 40 years.  Deb cares for everyone and treats all like they are family.  She has an eye for style and is excellent at picking a perfect frame for each person's face.
